When young Davy befriends a polite, coconut-kicking gorilla named Julius in Africa, he brings his new friend back home to join the circus. This whimsical “I Can Read” classic follows Julius as he tries to fit into the human world, eventually proving that even a giant gorilla can find his way home with the help of a well-aimed football.
